The level of expertise you can expect from a Chartered Physiotherapist is of a very high standard. All Chartered Physiotherapists have to complete a rigorous 3 year honours degree which includes 1000 clinical hours. Physiotherapy is a protected title so each practitioner must be registered with the HPC (Health Professions Council). You can check the HPC HPC Check to determine if a Physiotherapist is registered.
CPD (Continued Professional Development) is mandatory for all Chartered Physiotherapists where further education enables us to increase our skills and knowledge.
